Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you work with?
I work with adults in Minnesota who are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, anxious, or stuck. Most of my clients identify as:
-
Anxious overthinkers who have a hard time shutting their minds off
-
Highly sensitive people (HSPs) who feel everything deeply and often feel misunderstood
-
Neurodivergent adults (especially ADHD or Autism) navigating a world that wasn’t built for them
-
Parents trying to break generational patterns while juggling stress, guilt, and exhaustion
-
People-pleasers and perfectionists who struggle to set boundaries or put themselves first
-
Folks recovering from toxic or emotionally unsafe relationships
Whether you’re navigating a big life transition, unpacking your past, or just trying to breathe a little easier, I offer a warm, supportive space to do the work.

What does a typical session look like?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes and primarily client driven- meaning you set the agenda. My approach to therapy is warm, inclusive, and grounded in mindfulness and self-compassion. I meet you where you are and gently support you in exploring what’s getting in the way of healing and growth.

Where do sessions take place?
I can meet with folks located anywhere in Minnesota via secure video sessions. All I ask is that you’re in a private location at the time of our appointment so you can feel safe to be open and get the most out of your session.

Do I have to live in Minnesota?
Yes, unfortunately, my professional license only allows me to work with clients who are physically located in Minnesota at the time of our sessions.

Can I see you in person?
For the foreseeable future, I will be meeting clients solely online. Many folks enjoy being able to have therapy at home, but I understand that this doesn’t feel best for everyone.

How long are therapy sessions? How often will we meet?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes and are scheduled once per week or every other week. Scheduling can be flexible from week to week or you can have a specific day and time reserved just for you each week.

When are you available?
I meet with clients Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10:00am-5:00pm. I do not offer later evening or weekend appointments at this time.
But, what if it’s not a good fit?
Sometimes it sounds good on paper, but then you or I realize once the therapy starts that we’re just not the right fit for therapist and client. That’s okay! My primary goal is for you to find a therapist that will be able to best support you, so I will help you find referrals if we’re not a good match.

Do you take insurance?
I am not an in-network provider with any insurance carrier, but you may be able to use out-of-network benefits or your HSA/FSA card. You can check with your insurance company to ask about options.

How much do you charge per session?
Currently, my fee is $160 per 50-minute session. You can read more on my fees and payment options here.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?
I do reserve two spots for sliding fee clients. Contact me for more information.

Do you work with kids, teens, or couples?
My practice is focused on working with adults only.
Why do you have a supervisor?
I am currently a "pre-licensed LPC" in the state of Minnesota. This means that I have completed my education and passed the licensing exam but am still completing my hours towards independent licensure. You can contact my clinical supervisor here.
